Doug - Benedict Castle - someone had heart attack after 30 minutes with no heart beat. Heart started beating at hospital. Sunday, no sign of heart attack or brain damage. Prayers by Christian’s on site. Barry maguire shared the miraculous story. 
Charles car show - everything was free, had salvation table, 50 cars. Hot Rod gave his testimony at the show. 
Off road event in Johnson valley - Robin & Doug attended. All men praising God. Doug and Robin towed each other out of peril plus giant bonfire.

Shawn called the April 13th Meeting held at El Jalapeño Restaurant in Hemet to order at 3:25 pm.  Greg led in opening prayer.
 
Treasurer Report:  Doug reported we have $386.43 currently in our bank account. Our membership list was quickly gone over at the meeting and updated. It was noted that five members still need to pay their dues.
 
Correspondence:  None
 
Main Event:  Outreach at Liberty Church “Children’s Awana Club Grand Prix” on Saturday, April 19th, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Bring your old car and make an appearance for maybe an hour to thrill these young kids and adults. Location is 13630 Edgemont St., Moreno Valley, CA 92553. (Robin and Sheri are Awana Leaders here.)
 
Hemet – Local Event:  Valley Cruisers Cars & Coffee at Val Vista Home Center, 42951 E. Florida Ave, in Hemet on Saturday, May 10th, 8 to 11 am. Bob moved the motion be approved, Doug seconded, and the motion was carried.
 
Riverside – Local Event:  Tuxie’s on Friday, May 9th, 5:00-8:00pm.  Mouse moved the motion be approved, Sheri seconded, and the motion was carried.  
 
 
Devotion:  given by Shawn. Sometimes we forget that God has full control over everything and over every moment in our lives. Shawn ended his devotion sharing Job 42:1&2.
 
 
Old Business:  Super Cruise – more details will be coming at our May Meeting.
 
Bob who attended Tuxie’s on April 11th reported that there were not as many cars participating.
 
Fun Activity Suggestions:   Examples given were a Game Night, going Out to Dinner, or to a Drive-In Theater, etc. Please submit any suggestions you may have on our Group Text.

Next Meeting:  Our May Meeting this year falls on Mother’s Day. After discussion, it was decided to change the date of our May meeting. More info will come as to the date and place of our May meeting.

Shawn called the February 9th Meeting held at El Jalapeño Restaurant in Hemet to order at 3:11 pm.  Robin led in opening prayer.


Correspondence:  None


Main Event:  6th Annual Cougars Car Show on March 22nd from· 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist School: 2990 Damien Ave, La Verne, CA. $30 Preregistration and $35 at the event. Shawn moved the motion, Nick seconded, and carried. 


Local Event for Both Hemet & Riverside:  Farmer Boys (16880 Van Buren Blvd.) on Friday, March 7th, 4:00 – 7:00 pm. There’s a 15% food discount for cruisers. Robin moved the motion, Dan seconded, and carried. 


Devotion:  Nick gave our meeting devotion sharing Bible Verses 1 Peter 4:12-13 along with Romans 5:3-5. We are blessed by God to be able to experience trials from both the view of a non-Christian and as a Christian. We’re thankful for the Holy Spirit seeing us through difficulties. 


Old Business:
Super Cruise – Mouse will set up a zoom meeting with committee members Charles, Doug, Robin and herself to discuss details of our upcoming Super Cruise that is tentatively set for the month of June. 


New Business:
Outreach – Liberty Church (Moreno Valley) Awana Grand Prix on Saturday, April 12th. Time to be announced. Members will drive their cars to this event as outreach. 


Fun Activity Suggestions: Game Night, going out to dinner, drive-in theater, etc. More suggestions may be given on our Group Text.

Shawn called the January 12th meeting to order at 2:01 pm. Charles led in opening prayer.
Treasurer’s Report:   Doug reported we currently have $191.43 in our bank account. Dues are due again $45 for a couple and $35 for single membership.
Correspondence:  Shawn talked to Lois Schneider and she is doing fine.


On-Going Events:  Main Event – Grand National Roadster Show, Friday-Sunday,January 31-February 2, General Admission is $40 per person.  Mouse moved to approve, Nick seconded, and carried.
Local Event – Hemet:   Valley Cruisers Cars & Coffee at Val Vista Home Center, 42951 E. Florida Ave, in Hemet on Saturday, January 12th, 8 to 11 am. Shawn moved to approve, Nick seconded, and carried.
Local Event – Riverside:  Farmer Boys located at 16880 Van Buren Blvd. in Riverside on Friday, January 7th, 4 to 7 pm. Robin moved to approve, Patti seconded, and carried.


Devotion:  Shawn talked about “Christian Joy” sharing Bible verses that “Joy is God’s Gift to Us”. No matter what the trial is that we are going through, God is there for us.


Old Business:  The Angel Tree & Classic Car Show held December 14th at Mt. Zion Church in Ontario was a great event!  In addition to Charles being there, Tom & Sylvia along with Robin & Sheri participated. 
Christmas Party:  Sadly, not many members showed up for our Christmas Party held at the Mule Car Texas BBQ & Smokehouse, on Saturday, December 14th.  Shawn, Mouse, Nick, Kat, Bob, Patti, Robin & Sheri were present. The Big Excitement was Robin locking his keys in his ’64!
Mark Your Calendar - Next year’s Christmas Party will be at “The Oasis” (Shawn & Mouse’s House), Sunday, December 14th, at 3:00 pm.  Moved, seconded, and carried. 


New Business:  Super Cruise Committee – Charles, Doug, Mouse & Robin volunteered to be on our Super Cruise Planning Committee. 
Outreach:  a suggestion was made to support and help at outreach events at our different churches. Robin said Liberty Church’s Awana Grand Prix to be held on April 11 & 12  would be a great outreach event for our CR&C Chapter to show up with our cars.
Charles brought up “Cars & Coffee in Christ”, Saturday, January 25th, at “Not Your Mama’s Kitchen” (NYMK) located at 1919 E. Riverside Dr & S. Vineyard Ave in Ontario; time 8:00am & breakfast provided. (held quarterly on the fourth Saturday of the month).
Charles also said there is a Men’s Fellowship once a month at Mt. Zion Church, 224 W. California St. in Ontario. 

Next Meeting will be Sunday, February 9th, at El Jalapeño located at 199 N. State St., Suite 102, in Hemet.

Shawn called the July 14th meeting to order at 3:14 pm. Nick led in opening prayer. Doug gave our Treasurer’s Report. We currently have $1,144.55 in our bank account.
 
Correspondence:  
•   An email was received from Joshua Adams of the One and All Church inviting our Chapter to participate in their “MovieNight & Classic Car Show” on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 6:00 pm. They will have an In & Out Truck there. Address: 7576 Etiwanda Ave., Rancho Cucamonga 
• Dave Smith emailed that CR&C will be the “Featured Club” at Cruisin’ Grand on Friday, August 9th, from 4-8 pm. Meetat the Shell Service Station located at I-15 and SR79 (second off-ramp at the very south end of Temecula). They will leave the Shell Station at 3:15 pm for Escondido.  
Main Event:  CR&C Beach Cruise to Doheny State Beach on Saturday, July 27th, 9am.
                       We will meet at the restaurant located at SR-74 & Ortega Hwy at 8am  
                       to cruise together to Dana Point.
 
Hemet Local:  Perris Car Show on Sunday, August 4th, 4-7pm, located at Skydive 
                       Address:  2091 Goetz Rd, Perris                                                   
 
Riverside Local:    Harvest Cars & Coffee held every Saturday from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
​                  at Harvest Christian Fellowship. Address: 6115 Arlington Ave., Riverside
 
Nick moved to approve both local events, Mouse seconded, and the motion was carried.
 
Devotion:  Shawn gave our meeting devotion titled “Faith” sharing his daily “List of Encouragements” along with several Bible verses.
 
Old Business:  Nick gave an update on our Chapter Apparel Order with Big Time Designs in Beaumont. Two sheets of paper were sent around to those members present to sign up for T-shirts, Jackets, and Zip-up Hoodies. The prices are as follows:
 
T -Shirts – Black (possibly white too) Hanes T-shirt with silk screen traditional design will be $20 each;
XXL is $2.00 more and XXXL is $3.00 more. There is a two or three week turnaround.
Port Authority Jacket with Embroidery - $90 each
Dickey’s Shirt with Embroidery - $90 each
Zip-Up Hoodie - $75 each
 
Nick will email those members not in attendance to see if they would like to order. Nick will then add in the remaining T-shirts needed to make the minimal order of 30. Doug will give Nick a check to cover the costs of 30 T-shirts with members reimbursing our Chapter to receive their apparel. Charles moved to approve the motion, Mouse seconded, and the motion was carried.
 
New Business:  Doug and Bob will be at the Big Bear Fun Run, August 9 – 11.

Nick gave our meeting devotion titled, “A Test of Faith” sharing 2 Timothy 2:11-13


Old Business:
Due to unforeseen circumstances with International CR&C, Shawn wasn’t able to connect with Dave Smith.  A “Zoom” International CR&C Meeting will be held sometime this week. There’s a possibility Dave Smith will attend our March 10th meeting at Magnolia Church.


Doug reported on the Dr. George Charity Car Show he and Carol participated in yesterday, February 10th, held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. There were around 1,100 cars in total. Maybe next year we can get more CR&C Chapters to participate together for the Car Club Trophy.


New Business:
Shawn stated that the My City Youth Car Show will be held sometime in May. The actual date in May is still pending.


Nick will be sending out an email for those who want to order a t-shirt to respond with their size.


Doug suggested we might cruise to the Old Time Richfields Gas Station located on Archibald and Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga possibly on our Super Cruise. Doug, Mouse and Kat volunteered to be our Super Cruise Planning Committee.

Shawn Saunders called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2024. David led in opening prayer. Roll was taken. The minutes of the November 12, 2023, meeting were reviewed online. Doug (Treasurer) reported that we have a balance of $714.55 in our bank account. There was no correspondence.
Main Event:  Dr. George Charity Car Show 2024. Supports the efforts of the Desert Cancer Foundation. Saturday, February 10th, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden located at 78-200 Miles Avenue, Indian Wells, CA. Motion by Doug, seconded by David, and carried. 
Riverside Local Event:  Coffee and Cars at Harvest Christian Fellowship held every Saturday from 8-10 a.m.  (Address: 6115 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA). Attend any Saturday you want. Motion by Robin, seconded by Sheri, and carried. Bob said that Tuxies is closed until March 2024.
East IE Local Event:  Perris Airport Car Show – Sunday, February 4th, 1-4 p.m. Motion by Mouse!, seconded by Shawn, and carried. 
Devotion:  Doug shared Matthew 5:13-16,  “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned?”  We are to walk in the light and love of God. 
Old Business:  Mouse! reported that our CR&C Christmas Party held on December 9th was a great time for everyone present; Especially the chili and soups brought to the party. Garey and Teri Ford are appreciated for opening up their home for our Christmas Party!
Robin reported he attended the Coffee and Cars at Harvest Christian Fellowship a couple of times since our November meeting.
New Business:  Discussion was held about our CR&C Chapter coming aside Orange County CR&C by attending one of their events. Shawn will talk to Dave Smith.
